So I decided to post this in response to the rp I did with and
Light woke up to the sound of birds chirping and early morning’s raise shining on her off white pelt. “Where am I?” she spoke softly to herself. The angelic fae was feeling slightly groggy and a little weak. “What happened to me last night?” She then felt a sharp pain within her lower wings. She cried out in agony and then turned her head around to look at what could be causing her so much pain. At first all seemed normal to her, nothing seemed broken and she was able to move them freely even if it did hurt her. Then she looked at the tips of her wings and was shocked by what she saw. Light morphed into her humanoid form to grab each wing and look at their tips with much despair. “My wings!” she cried “They have been clipped!!! How could this be?!” The angel then remembered the events that took place the night before. “It was Schatten” she thought. “How could he…” She stopped mid-sentence “It is because I am weak…” she sobbed “I could not save Illusion nor could I defend Jirod when he needed me most…”
Light walked a few feet away from where she woke up, the sun was now almost completely up now and the deer herd grazed peacefully on the other side of the trees from where she was now sitting. The angel, still in her humanoid form sobbed for a few more minutes before speaking another word. She thought about Schatten, Jirod, and even Erzengel who had bullied her only two days earlier after that demon almost had his way with her. Light’s sobs went into full tears of despair now. “Why?! Why am I so helpless?! So…weak…” a few more tears fell into her lap. “I have always been safe here, with family to protect me… But this cannot always be…” She looked at her clipped wings once more. “No…I must learn to help myself…but how?” Light dried her eyes with her delicate hands and thought for a moment. “Cloud is away with business of her own, Illusion is…” She could not bring herself to say about her current state. “I don’t believe there is anyone here who would be willing to train me…” The Angel went back to sobbing for a bit.
Moments later Light had an idea “Tristan! I can have Tristan train me! After all he is family.” With a new found hope and a spark in her eye the angel morphed into her wolf form and began running toward the portal stopping only for a moment to look back at her home. She knew she would be exposed, and she knew she would be missed with no one around to tell where she was going, but she knew this was important. Her world was changing quickly, and danger was now everywhere. If she wish to make herself less of a burden to her family, and possibly even defend them when she could she needed to train. The fae jump through the magical portal and was transported to the cape of distant worlds. Light could feel the sand under her paws and the cool sea breeze within her pelt, the sound of seagulls squawking overhead. She looked for a quiet area to think for a moment, for it has been a long time since Tristan came to visit her. “Where did he say I could meet him to visit if I ever needed him?” she thought to herself. She knew his original home, Drayden, was a place she could not cross, for only Dragons, Gods, Deities, and members of the Deathly Hallows were welcome in such a sacred place. She was a mere middle class angel and was not welcome there. “Think…” she scolded herself in her head. Suddenly a small white fox ran by and jumped into a seemingly random portal. “The South Pole!” she said so loud a few other random mortal creatures looked over for a moment before carrying on their own business. Light looked down blushing in embarrassment and pawed at the sand before walking up into the next portal to leave this warm sandy world.
Later that night the fae found herself at the mouth of a big den that led to a cave. It took her a long time to get even this far due to the fact that she could no longer fly and had to run and swim across to get there. Tired Light wandered inside and looked for a safe place to rest but saw nothing but a still water path so she continued on. About an hour later she came upon a road block…a water fall… “Well how am I supposed to get up there now?” She thought to herself. Too tired to go on the fae collapsed on the small grass patch with flowers at the base of the water fall. She slept there for what only seemed to her like a few minutes, but was actually about two hours, when suddenly she was splashed in the face with water waking her up. “Wha..t the..” She looked over and saw a wolf pup playing with a tiger cub in the water and splashing around. Light smiled and looked over to the water fall once more and decided to try to fly up. “It’s not so high maybe I can make it.” Light opened her wings as wide and she could and began to flap. Flapping harder then she has ever needed to do before the fae manage to get lift off and made her way up the water fall. About three quarters of the way up she started to feel herself begin to fall, her wings loosing lift. Light scrabbled to grab on to anything to avoid falling and after losing her grip on a few slippery rocks, her small claws finally hooked on to a vine behind the water fall. Using this leverage she flapper her now soaked wings held her breath and by some miracle she managed to flap her way to the top of the water landing on a large bolder.
Once she caught her breath Light swam in the calmer water over to the second water fall and found the hidden tunnel. This tunnel led the way to a few different caves but she knew which one led to the pole. “Almost there” she thought as she shook off her wet pelt, “I just need to go through this portal and look for him.” And without a moment of hesitation Light ran through the cave portal leading to the South Pole.
