Nearing the all too familiar aquatic archway of the Aurora’s territory, Aneira finally allowed her group to stop for a quick break as she scanned the scene. No longer was it the peaceful green, hilly landscape, full of vibrant flowers, cozy dens, and a beautifully constructed meeting hall, which she found herself attending meetings in at least on two occasions. No, this was no longer the place she met her lover again in his new body, as Titan, no this…this was hell… The green grass now stained red with the blood of both allies and foes…their bodies lied everywhere. Even though it had only been a short time since the war began, the meeting hall was now a shell of its once glorious self. All the glass shattered inside and out, corpses and there detached appendages, in some cases, littered the floor, and the roof had caved in where a small dark blue dragon crashed landed to her death, her head resting between the alpha and beta’s seating post. The sight was almost enough to invoke sadness within the wicked fae’s icy heart…almost… “Meh…it seems we are late…This would have never happened if Thanos just let me lead my troops from the start…Arrogant bastard….” She mumbled to herself as she decided her next move. Climbing on top of a pile of blood-stained rubble that had fallen off the meeting hall, Aneira wanted to give herself some height amongst her giant ‘comrades’ to shout her orders. “Listen up!!! Thanks to all of you and your incompetence getting here we are late!!! Thanos has started his war against this weak pack of dogs and cats and from the looks of it they have already begun to fold…” With her hash words a few grunts and groans could be heard among the group of a hundred or so, but of course no one had the gall to stand up to her, so Aneira continued uninterrupted.  “So here is the plain!!! We will continue to higher ground and see who is left!!! Hopefully we will see some action by then…” And with that she hopped down and led the charge to higher ground.

Meanwhile up a large hill only a short way off from where he ‘woke up’ a few minutes earlier Twilight drove his sword into the heart of the last demon to attack him. “Ha! This is too easy! For all of my training this is all I get?! Come on I worked my ass off to be here, give me a challenge! Make it worth my while…” Then not too far off from him, he could hear the sound of a large group of creatures quickly marching in his direction as he pulled his now bloody sword out of the chest of the nameless demon. “Alright! Now that’s what I’m talking about! Bring it on!” He smirked. And before the young brute could even clean his sword Twilight found himself confronted with a small army of much larger monsters, demons, and even a few dragons. Leading the group was a surprisingly small woman at about only 5’7”, which was small in comparison to those who followed her.  As Twilight looked over her familiar features it didn’t take him long to soon recognized the woman.  The young man couldn’t believe his eyes, could it be? “Ciara? What hell are you doing back here? I thought you were banished a long time ago…You know back when Titan was killed and you went crazy and tried to kill Myst…Why the hell are you here now?”  Aneira looked to the tall boy with irritation but managed to keep her tone sickly sweet as she responded. “Oh my dear boy, first of all, my name is not really Ciara…you see that is the name of my body’s old inhabitance…Ciara is no longer here…You shall refer to me as Aneira from this moment on.  Second of all dear child, this is a war…and you see, I am here for my revenge…Speaking of which where is that ‘heroic’ little beta of yours…Arcanus was it?” Twilight looked down at her and growled annoyed by her fake tone of voice that could not be more obvious if she tried. “Listen here  ‘Aneira’ I am not a child…And I couldn’t care less what name you go by these days. As far as I’m concerned, War or not you don’t belong here, and as far as I remember you never did….Arc. warned us not to trust you if you ever came back and I can see why.  By the way, tell me, was he the one that left that huge scar on your side like that?”  He said with a cackle on the last comment. Aneira’s icy blue eyes blazed with anger at the boy’s snarky comments. Her voice changing back to its normal angry wicked tone as she screamed at him. “You know what boy! I considered sparing your worthless life since you are but a mere child! But fuck it! It seems you have a death wish! And what kind of person would I be if I did not grant the simple wish of a ‘sweet’ child such as yourself eh? Soldiers! I have found you your first target at last! Attack this boy! Now!!!”  There was a slight hesitation within the ranks due to the sudden order for ‘all’ of them to attack one young brute but after all they have seen from their new commander they knew better then to cross her. So with her order all the soldiers began to attack him. And as they did so their ‘brave’ and ‘honorable’ commander took it upon herself to simply slither away in the form of a shadow to a far off location to watch the less than fair odds from a good distance off.

Not having seen Aneira’s full fury for himself before he was taken off guard by her hotheadedness, and soon found himself surrounded by monsters that towered even his tall form. However, this did not faze him for long as he simply chuckled and began to decide which one of his many powers to use first. Having trained for hours on end in the pack’s training grounds, the brute had begun to better understand his new abilities that he was granted from Titan which would now come in handy. As the towering forms started to close in Twi. decided on a quick defense tactic he had been working on for a few weeks now for a scenario such as this. He looked over to his opponents as he raised his hands in front of his chest, palms open, a small but powerful wind could be seen forming and swirling. As this happened dried earth, stones, and blades of blood soaked grass could be seen being pulled into the swirling mass. This of course was no deterrent to the creatures that were quickly closing in on him, but soon it would be. Once Twilight gained enough energy, which only took a matter of moments, he then grabbed the swirling mass with one hand and shouted “Alright guys you ready to play? Let’s get started…” and slammed it into the ground in front of his own feet. This caused both an earthquake and an enormous windstorm to happen simultaneously, taking the small army of creatures off guard both on the ground and in the air. In fact, the two prong attack was quite devastating, leaving many with broken, arms, legs and wings. One dragon was even killed when he was thrown into a large tree, which broke in half under his weight crushing his skull as it fell on top of him. It was easy to see that the soldiers would need a short time to regroup.  This bought the young brute some time to come up with his next move.

Meanwhile Aneira simply watched as her army slowly fell apart until the form of an unconscious  two-headed feline demon came flying in her direction, to which the fae simply pulled out her giant ice sword and sliced the poor beast in half to avoid being knocked over. “Worthless…” She said as she sheathed her sword and continued watching the battle. Unaware of that their commander killed yet another one of their comrades for the sake of self-preservation the army, or what was left of it slowly recuperated and attack the boy head on once more. “Alright that worked better than I thought! Awesome! I wonder what I should try next…” he thought to himself as the weakening but still formidable army started to bare down on him once more.  He thought about all of his powers and decided that he should try another wide range attack, but what this time? Then he remembered another ability he got as a gift from Titan, but would he have enough time to use it? The brute decided to combine attacks once more in order to buy himself time. Twilight started with creating another wind storm which once again managed to keep all winged opponents grounded, including the two remaining dragons. Then with one hand he summoned his wind storm to carry snow which started light enough but quickly progressed into a blizzard. This only affected a few members of the army who were creatures of fire or other elements that did not mix well with the cold. With his other hand, he started to summon what looked to be a vortex into another world. At first the size of a coin, it soon grew to be twice the size of his large hand. “Yes! Woot! Who’s ready for round two?!” He shouted with excitement.  Twilight couldn’t wait to see how this next round would go. Would it kill them all this time? To him it didn’t seem to matter. Being born of a banshee-reaper and an ice fae with unimaginable strength and power, even at his young age, he felt almost god-like as he watch the small army fold under his wrath. To him it was like a drug…And he couldn’t get enough…He felt so alive…

Aneira couldn’t help but enjoys the sudden snow storm that seemed to come out of nowhere considering it was within the mid 70s(F) about a moment ago. It had been so long since the fae left her winter wonderland to come out here and find the one named Titan, and now failed mission. With each flake of snow that touched her dark pelt her memories of home came flooding back, causing her to forget about her army and the smart mouth brat of Myst’s for a bit. Aneira only now realized how home sick she really was, and how much she missed her old life of duty, lust, and fear based respect. Would she ever return? Was there even a reason to now? Her king is dead, her lover’s body lost forever, the location of his soul unknown, then it dawned on her… “Frostweaver… She would be the last heir to the thorn…that winch…” she growled to herself.  “So full of herself…always trying to keep me away from my Ice simply because I was not royalty?!” She spit in disgust. “Maybe there is a reason to go back…maybe I need that kingdom for myself…and maybe…just maybe…I will find my Iceheart one day…” she thought to herself with a wicked smirk. Now with a plan in mind the Ice fae snapped back into reality and began watching the battle once more with mild interest.

With the vortex now ready, the young brute closed his other hand, which stopped the blizzard almost instantaneously. This left some of the soldier dumbfounded until they could see what he was up to. The gloomy vortex of swirling shadows, now at its full size, allowed dark spirits to flow out of it without any resistance, like an open door between the two realms. The first one flowing over a small goblin who just managed to get herself out of the snow that was up to her forehead a moment ago. It encased her small form like a cloak to which the goblin made a feudal attempt to fight it off her. It was too late and within a few seconds it was clear that she was dead, the life literally sucked out of her leaving nothing behind but an aged withered corpse.  “How much power could this one puny little child possess?!”  Said one of the dragons who were grounded thanks to a broken wing from earlier and now slow moving thanks to the cold. Twilight simply smiled as more spirits of various types began pouring out of the vortex one by one, they slowly drifted to their chosen targets that they were best suited to kill. Some absorbed their target’s life force, their souls, while others possessed their opponents to force them to battle each other. Within a matter of moments, the army was reduced down to a mere hand full of demons and a hell hound.  It was at this point that Twilight decided to finish them off himself, summoning the shadowy spirits back to their realm once more and closing the portal behind them. “Sorry boys can’t let you have all the fun…” he said before the last one crossed over. “Ha! and to think I was once a nervous little nobody… And now look at what he’s done.” The young boy could have not been prouder of himself. Twilight then drew his sword to finish off the remaining creatures.

Meanwhile Aneira, who was still watching from a safe distance, had a troubling thought. “Wind?.... Snow?....Spirits?...Where did a child of that weak Alpha accumulate such vast amounts of power…? I thought all of her pups could simply control water… But no even his essence seems different from the other pups somehow…Another father perhaps?” Then it hit her like a bolder crashing down upon her head. “Ice….no…it can’t be….him?! This boy?! This pup of Myst’s?! ….THIS MERE BOY?! HE KILLED MY ICEHEART?!” The fae was immediately flooded with emotions of grief, anger and bewilderment. She didn’t want to believe it but there he stood, wiping out her small army with all of the powers both Ice and his former body Titan once possessed. She felt dizzy and barely able to stand, nearly wanting to faint. “How could this be…he was so weak hearted as a pup….the weakest of them all…How could this be….” She wept into her hands, her legs became weak as she fell to her knees. “No…I must stay strong…” she sobbed. “I must keep going…I must…kill…Twilight…then I will face Frostweaver and take back what is rightfully mine…” With that, the fae stood up, wiped the tears from her eyes and fixed her hair.  She then slowly made her way over to the boy who was just about to kill the last remaining member of her army, who she seemed to completely forget about, the mighty hell hound.

As the beast made a final attempt to jump for his throat, Twilight, with seemingly no effort  stepped out of the way and swung his sword decapitating the creature’s head in one swing. With this the body simply fell lifeless into the snow pouring out blood from the open neck like a fountain, while the head rolled away.  “Well done my boy…well done…” Twi. was taken by surprise with how close Aneira seemed to ‘appear’ just a few feet away. “I underestimated you pup…er…I mean young man…Apparently my puny army was no match for your might.” The brute was not sure what to make of her, was this another round of sarcasm? Was she not upset about losing her army? He watched her warily as she continued to walk in his direction.  “You know I could use a strong….handsome man like yourself to help me with a little problem I am having…” Twilight looked at her lifting his one brow. He knew deep down he couldn’t trust her, however it never hurts to be praised does it? He smirked slightly. “What could you possible want with me? And for that matter why do you think I would be willing to help you? Arc. said…” In a sweet but forceful voice Aneira cut him off. “Forget about that beta of yours, forget about this pack...If you help me with this I promise you something better than anything, anyone in this could give you…My dear boy, man, I am offering you the chance of a lifetime…I am offering to make you…a King!” Twilight couldn’t believe his ears…it was clear she did not have a clue who he was or what he ‘could’ have if he really wanted it…

Aneria was now only an arm’s length away from him now and had to look up to the much taller figure as she impatiently waited for an answer. “Well handsome…what do you say? Will you help me?” She reached out to place a hand on his face when suddenly the brute began laughing hysterically. “What is the meaning of this?! Why are you laughing?! DO YOU MOCK MY OFFER?!” She then went to go slap him but was grabbed by her tiny wrist with his large hand angering her more. Aneria then grabbed his arm with her free hand and pair held on to each other, eyes lock and growling. What they didn’t know about each other until now was that they both had the ability to read the thoughts and memories of others throw physical contact. “I see it now, you just wanted to get inside my head didn’t you, you wench…” Aneria continued to hold on trying to dig deeper into his past memories, trying to better understand who he was. “…Hmm yes…and it seems I was very wrong about you…I…” Then memories of Frostweaver came into her mind, she watched as she was ruthlessly killed by Twilight through repeated blows to her skull. By this point she could tell that the boy was looking into her past as well despite her best efforts to block him. She knew the risk she was taking of not just letting go, of letting him poke around her mind in what felt like such a violating manner, but she needed to know more about him…

This went on for another few minutes as neither one of them was ready to let go. As this happened the bloody snow around them slowly melted revealing any bodies that were hidden beneath it. With not a soul around them for miles, the pair was left uninterrupted lock in each other’s minds. Aneria then let out a horrible screeching cry of disbelief. “MOTHER?! MOTHER?! FROSTWEAVER…WAS YOUR MOTHER?! AHHHHH!!!” She then ripped her hand back with surprising strength, jumped back and pulled out her giant ice blade. “That bitch deserved to die that much is true…BUT TO KNOW THAT YOU ARE OF HER BLOOD AND THE HEIR TO THE THRON?! NOW YOU MUST DIE….” The fae then launched herself toward Twilight, ready to do whatever it takes to kill him, to get revenge on Frost and to take back what she thought was rightfully hers….
